Jaycee Sponsored Sports Competition For information on the following sports competitions, clink on the link. Timed Basketball competition for boys and girls ages 6-13 held in the spring. The 2008 local competition was held on Saturday, February 16 at Linden Elementary School at 1:00 pm. Registration began at 12:30 pm. The state competition was held on March 29th at Fremont High School.
Aquafina Pitch, Hit and Run National Web site for Pitch, Hit & Run Individual baseball competition sponsored by Aquafina will be held in late spring. The competition is for boys and girls ages 7-14. The 2008 local competition will be held on Saturday, April 12th at 1:00 pm at Memorial Fields by the YMCA at 9th Street & Lincoln Ave. Moved to the RAIN DATE on April 26th at 9:00 am The 2008 state competition was held on May 17th in Auburn.
NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Individual football competition sponsored by Pepsi with an opportunity to earn a place to compete at an NFL playoff game. The competition is for boys and girls ages 8-15. The 2008 local competition will be held in the fall on a Saturday in September with location and time to be determined. The national website about this competition is www.nflrush.com
